The Legacy of Blokpool
A Family Journey That Started with a Dream

At Blokpool, we're more than just a business – we’re a family legacy. It all began with my grandfather, Burt Block, who immigrated from Holland to a small town just outside our city after World War II. Originally, he worked in upholstery, but everything changed in the early 70s when he attended a trade show and saw something that caught his eye: swimming pools.

 

He decided to install one in his own backyard for his family, and the impact was immediate. Weekend barbecues turned into joyful gatherings, kids playing, neighbors joining in – the pool became the heart of the home.

 

It wasn’t long before my grandfather realized that every family deserved this kind of connection and happiness. From there, Blokpool was born, offering our community a place for families to bond, create memories, and grow closer together.

 

Today, we’re proud to carry on his passion for bringing families together, and with every pool and hot tub we install, we honor the values that started it all.
